You are William Pitt, a fiery speaker and friend of America.
[[Parliament meeting]]
<img src= tinyurl.com/z3xvcve>
As you walk into a parliament meeting, you here Mr. Van speaking of an attack on Boston. You pass him by. You approach the podium, do you,[[ Speak out against taxation without representation]] or [[Take matters up with a higher representative]]
<img src=jxyf7v4>
You begin your speech with integrity, but as the minutes drag on, your officials start to lose sight of your cause. they cut you off, saying that your cause is pointless. Angry, do you [[Storm out of the house]] or [[Continue with renewed effort and emotion]]?
As reach the top floor, just outside of the office, you see a note on the floor. Scribbled roughly at the head of the page is a title reading "Doctrines of the Illuminati, Official document". It tells of an attack on the fort on Sullivans Island.
Worried and suspicious, do you [[Keep the note a secret]] or [[Report the note to Governor Rutledge]]?
You leave angrily and abruptly, you have both failed your colonies and on another note, you have failed this game. Surely there is another path you can take.
You restart your argument with rejuvenated emotion and integrity. The court official yells, "SILENCE!!". If you don't stop, you will be held in contempt of court. Do you [[Continue]] or [[Leave]]
You slip the note into the pocket of your jacket, it is completely hidden... or so you thought.
[[On the street]]
You rush down to the harbor just a half mile inland from Sullivan's Island.
You meet up with a young soldier of the colonists, you slip him the note. He quickly skims it over.
Your character will now change to the perspective of the soldier.
[[The harbor]]
There is nobody on the street except for you. You hear the isolated noise of your breath clashing with the clippety-clop of you shoes on the stone.
You spot a British sentry on patrol,"You there, HALT!" he yells You are scared, already knowing that you will get in trouble if the guard sees the note.
Do you [[stop and act normal]] ( you risk arrest) or [[Run in the opposite direction]]?
The sentry grabs you by the arm and says "Your William Pitt ain't ya?"
You answer "Yes".
He asks you "Whattaya doin' out here being sneaky?"
You mutter "No reason".
"Turn out ya pockets!" he commands.
Nervous, do you [[Take out the note]]?
Mind you, the Sentry believes that you are conspiring against the King, not Sullivan's Island.
You take off as fast as your old legs can go.
The British soldier takes a small chain out of his satchel, yells,"STOP! STOP in the name of the King George!" he spins it and then hurls it at your ankles. You fall to the ground, desperately trying to untangle the chain from your ankles.
The sentry is now wrestling you, pushing your head against the the cold ground. Do you [[Hit the sentry in the jaw with your elbow]] [[Or lay on the ground in shock]]?
You hit him in the jaw, he stumbles backwards in pain. As you are about to leave, he rams the bayonet on his musket through your ribcage. You lay dead; motionless, expressionless on the cobblestone road.
Sorry,you failed.
He forcefully rips you up off the ground, at gunpoint, he hauls you off to a holding cell. You face serious charges, but until your punishment, you will rot in this cell.
You lost.
You remove the letter from its hiding place in your pocket. The British sentry takes a glance at the content of the page. He looks up and says,"I know of this attack, but who is this Illuminati?"
You say that you have no idea.
He takes your word,"Alright, be on ya way now".
You head back to your house, peacefully.
Congratulations, you won but there is a better, more interesting way to complete this game.
You continue, but you are almost immediately stopped by the Official. barging in a group of four British soldiers they drag you off to a holding cell. You await sentencing, but for now, you have lost.
You trudge home, thinking that you could've tried harder for this much needed law.
You have completed the game, but there is a much more interesting route to this game.
Try again if you like.
You hop onto a small boat setting out for Sullivan's Island. You see in the distance British navy ships gathering off the coast. You [[Take the wheel and set full speed to Sullivan's Island]]
You spin the wheel, yelling "Full speed to Sullivan's Island!!".
The tiny boat launches to the Island, which is now very close.
Approaching quickly is a naval ship, it seems that it is going to ram you. Do you [[Spin the boat out of the way]] or [[Jump off and swim to shore]]?
You spin out of the way just as the monstrous ship flashes by. Now you are just outside of the island. However, your ship runs up on a shoal (sandbar). You must swim.
[[Sullivan's Island]]
You swim to shore. As you turn around, in the distance you see supposedly British ships laying waste to Sullivan's Island. Unfortunately, you have let Sullivan's Island be destroyed. If you had only gone through with the mission, this could have been avoided. You failed.
You tuck the note into your leather bag. You swim ashore. As you run up to the fort you meet up with Governor Rutledge and Colonel Moultrie.
Governor Rutledge orders you to take command of a group of soldiers. To defend the fort, do you [[Build dirt and wood walls on the beach]] or [[Gather all the weapons and cannons and begin to fire on the ships]]?
You and your group begin constructing rough dirt walls, you then begin to set up cannons in between the walls.
[[Victory]]
Your troops begin unleashing mass amounts of fire power onto the ships. In this, you are not paying attention to the back of the island. You hear gunfire in the background, your troops whirl around to see seven or eight cloaked men holding Colonel Moultrie hostage. They run off onto their boat with the Colonel. Without the Colonel, Sullivan's Island is lost.
You failed.
You hold your gleaming sabre in the air, then point it forward, signaling for the troops to unleash havoc onto the enemy fleet.
A group of cloaked men, about ten or fifteen of the run on shore towards you, these are the Illuminti the letter spoke of. You and five other men charge the cloaked figure, guns ablaze. You see two men running up to Colonel Moultrie with guns pointed at him. Do you [[Ram the sword into one of the men and shoot the other]] or [[Stay and fight the larger group]]
You charge the men, your glistening sword strikes down one of the men, you pull out your flintlock pistol and blast the other in the heart.
The Colonel is saved. You turn to the larger group, which has been reduced to just a few prisoners.
Sullivan's Island is saved!!
Congratualtions!
[[The end]]
The men surround you. You begin to believe all is lost. But all of a sudden, musketfire tears into the horde, ten men fall. Governor Rutledge brutally attacks the men, killin both.
Sullivan's Island is saved.
You won,Congratulations!!
[[The end]]
You won!!!
