You are a patriot fighting in the Revolutionary War. You run behind a near by General Store,your musket drawn to your chest.You peek behind the corner and watch as other men charge the army. The British forces close in on the town,searching for Patriots like you.Do you [[run]] or do you [[stay]]?
You run home,grab your musket and join other men as they march towards the army. The army starts firing. The colonists fire back,but General Washington tells you to retreat.Do you [[retreat with him]] or [[continue fighting]]?
You retreat with General Washington and the rest of the men through the town and the settling fog. As you run along the coast, General Washington has an idea. You will sail across the river to Manhattan Island to escape the British troops. Do you [[get in the boat]] or [[stay on the shore]]?
The British forces are overwhelming you and your comrades.You fight for as long as you can until you hear a shot ring out and a searing pain explodes in your abdomen.You die in minutes.

You make it to your house and stash the weapon in the cellar.When you return upstairs,you find a pair of redcoats and they are searching your house.They find your musket and they insist that you [[go with them]].
You stay where you are until two men in red coats come up to you,and question the musket in your hands. You fail to answer and they insist you [[go with them]].

You are in a dark and smelly cell.It is cold and you hear water hitting the floor.You are in jail. There are stone walls and floors and a pile of hay in a corner,serving as a bed. A few days later,you are awoken by guards coming to get you out of the cell. You have been sentenced to death by hanging.

You travel across the river and land on Manhattan Island. You travel inland with the rest of the men,until you spot a large group of German soliders called Hessians in a clearing. You hide behind the trees for cover with the rest of the men.General Washington signals for you to shoot. Do you [[shoot]] or [[hold your fire]]?

You watch as the boats sail across the river until they disappear into the fog. You sit on the bank of the river,not thinking of the redcoats who are coming towards you.They question you and tell you to [[go with them]].

Gunshots go off from both sides,hitting trees and sending bark flying.General Washington calls for the men to retreat.Do you [[continue firing]] or [[retreat]]?
You hear the rest of the men firing and bark flies everywhere. Shouts come from the Hessian camp and a blast goes off. They had fired a cannon. You hear a ringing in your ears and your head is pounding. You take off before they can fire again but it is too late. A pain runs up your side and you realize you have been shot.You die seconds later.
Gunshots continue to be fired and you miss the footsteps coming up behind you.You hear a shot ring out and everything goes black.You are dead.
You run through the woods until you see the lights of a town in the distance.You keep running,hearing the shouts of the Hessians behind you.You enter the town,and hear conversations in the shadows."They're not fighting their own war!" an outraged man is saying to a group"They are sending the Germans to fight it for them...".You hear no more of the conversation as the General has found shelter for you and the men for the night. The next day,you get a letter stating that your 3 months serving the Continental Army are over and that you will receive your money when you get home. Your term is over.
