Her sheets are disheveled, pillows are strewn about the small room, and a treacherous wind blows through the open curtains. Maela is gone.\n\n"I--I thought it was just a dream. Where is she? What happened to Maela?" Your voice tapers off as the words become difficult to find. I couldn't keep you safe!" She buries her face into your father's chest, sobbing uncontrollably.\n\n"Geiss?" You shudder as you repeat the name. Something about it is dark and foreboding, and the shadow from your nightmare swims in your head. "Who is Geiss?"\n\n"He is a monster from the past," your father begins, "who has caught up with us despite our attempts to flee. A dark man full of dark deeds...a powerful mage who is thirsty for power and will stop at nothing to get it."\n\n"But why Maela? I don't understand."\n\n"Your father and I hoped to protect you from this," your mother says, "but there is something we haven't told you." She exchanges an apologetic look with your father and then fixes her gaze on you.\n\n"We need you to listen for a moment," your father says, "and then we will need you to make a decision. "Please, bring your sister home."\n\n"I promise," you say, and head out the door, following the pathway that leads to the Shrouded Forest. Fear and insecurity grip your spirit, but the thought of Maela helplessly encased in a prison of light compels you to journey across the threshold of the forest.\n\n\nEarth Pathway 1
\nAs you step into the Shrouded Forest, you can feel the dark magic permeating the air around you. Haunting trees with ghastly branches form a roof over your head, with moonlight breaking through sporadically to cast irregular white shapes at your feet. \n\nYou glance momentarily at the red orb floating beside you. It pulses lightly, but otherwise makes no motion. "Well, now would be a great time for you to tell me where to go," you say with a sigh.\n\n"All you had to do was ask!"\n\nThe orb's shrill voice nearly causes you to jump out of your boots.\n\n"Y-You can talk?! I thought you were just an orb!"\n\n"I'm a wisp, thank you very much!" comes the haughty reply. "Of course I can talk!"\n\n"I'm sorry, I've never met a wisp before. Until today, I didn't even know you existed!"\n\n"We wisps have always existed," it huffs. "We just prefer not to busy ourselves with the affairs of humans unless it is absolutely imperative." The wisp darts back and forth across your head and shoulders as if sizing you up. "Tell me, human, what's so important about you?"\n\n"M-Me? There is nothing important about me." You look at the ground.\n\n"Ooh, I don't believe that for a second! You must be important or else I wouldn't be here! Now, tell me..."\n\n"Nerick."\n\n"Nerick! Yes, that's it. Tell me, Nerick. What is it you want?"\n\n"I want to find Maela, my twin sister, but she has been kidnapped...and I don't know how to find her."\n\n"Ah, yes...Maela. I know Maela." The wisp glows warmly at the mention of her name.\n\n"Can you take me to her?"\n\nThe wisp is silent for a moment as it pulses steadily. "She is far off, but I can sense her faintly. The path is wide now, but as we come closer, the pathway will narrow. I can only show you possibilities. You must trust in yourself, Nerick, and choose."\n\n"How do I know which way to go?"\n\n"Can you feel the soothing power of Earth running through your veins, Nerick? Let the magic guide you."\n\nThe wisp glows brightly and three pathways appear before you.\n\n"From here, you can go Northwest, North, or Northeast. The Northwest passage is very dark, but the right kind of magic will light your way. The Northern path is barricaded by a large waterfall, but water is easily manipulated by the right element. Should you go Northeast, you will be met with thick brush, but all living things are harnessed through the same power. Which path will you take?"\n\n\nEarth 1a\n\nEarth 1b\n\nEarth 1c\n\n\n\n\n

\nYou decide to put as much distance as you can between yourself and Oread, and run deeper into the heart of the Shrouded Forest.\n\n"That was amazing!" the wisp exclaims as it whips through the air beside you. "Truly the power is strong within you."\n\nYou stop to catch your breath, panting as you brace yourself against a tree. "Yeah," you say between huffs and puffs, "but imagine how much stronger I'd be if my parents hadn't kept this a secret for sixteen years."\n\n"Your parents did what they thought was best, Nerick. Geiss's power was growing. There was no other choice."\n\n"They could have chosen to fight. Why have magic at all if you can't use it to strike down your enemies?"\n\nThe wisp trails along slowly as you begin moving again. "There is more to magic than destruction. You still have much to learn."\n\n"And no time to learn it. If my magic is so strong, why don't I feel that way?"\n\n"I know it's hard to understand right now, Nerick, but you have a special kind of magic. In time, you will understand. And not before it's too late. Let's keep going, for Maela."\n\nThe two of you travel forward in silence. The woods on either side of the pathway grow thicker and thicker with trees and foliage. You can hear the faint sound of water lapping at a muddy shore. Finally, the path branches into three, but each direction is guarded by a ferocious creature.\n\n"What are they, wisp?"\n\n"The path on the left is blocked by a Tizheruk--an Ice snake. There is probably a river cave nearby, most likely filled with its victims.\n\n"The center path is guarded by a Kitsune--a nine-tailed Fire fox. Though the path behind her is filled with smoke, she is a clever creature...you cannot trust what you see.\n\n"The path on the right takes us by the Suchos--a river god with the head of a crocodile, dragging his belly in the Earth. He is a fierce protector, but unfortunately not for us.\n\n"All of these roads will take us to a river, but which path will you take?"\n\n\nTizheruk (Earth)\n\nKitsune (Earth)\n\nSuchos (Earth)\n
\nAs you continue northeast, the brush of thorns disappears farther and farther behind you.\n\n"Maybe this magic thing isn't too bad, after all," you think out loud.\n\n"Yes, magic is the best way to protect yourself in these dangerous lands," the wisp tells you. "The Shrouded Forest is full of ancient magic and creatures of dark design that can pop out at you at any moment. Some look small, but can strike you down in the blink of an eye. Others will try to charm you, leading you back to their lairs where they will kill and consume you. The Shrouded Forest is nothing to be trifled with...especially with Geiss ruling the lands within."\n\nAs you travel the pathway, you are ambushed by a trio of wood nymphs.\n\n"We are the Oread!" one cries, "Woodland spirits in service to the Dark Mage Geiss! I am Fern, and I wield the power of Earth. These are my sisters Freiya and Fira; Freiya holds the power of Ice, and Fira commands the power of Fire. If you can defeat one of us, we will let you pass."\n\n"Remember the way the magic works, Nerick!" the wisp warns you. "The power you wield influences your chance of success. \nAs you step down on the other side of the river, the wisp dances around your head. "Didn't I tell you? Didn't I tell you there was so much more to magic than you think? You can destroy //and// you can create. The only limit is your imagination!"\n\nYou can't help but share in the wisp's excitement, and a feeling of confidence slowly starts to seep its way in. "I never thought I would be able to do something like that. I can't wait to show Maela!" You turn your face up to the sky, soaking in the warmth of the sun. "Do you think we're getting close, wisp?"\n\nThe wisp stops dancing for a moment and grows very still. It pulsates gently several times before answering. "I can feel her, Nerick. Oh, how I long to join her! But I can feel him, too. Geiss is everywhere in this forest."\n\n"Was he always so evil?"\n\nThe wisp thinks for a long moment. "There is good and bad to magic. You've seen both sides of it yourself. It is amazing and wonderful, but sometimes it corrupts. Geiss was once a good, powerful mage, but his desire for the magic poisoned his mind. Still poisons his mind."\n\nYou think a moment about the wisp's words and then ask, "Why is my family so important to Geiss? Aren't there others out there?"\n\n"There used to be many, but these days, not so much. If they're out there, they're in hiding. Long ago, your mother thought that was the coward's way out. She and her brothers and sisters found out too late just how powerful Geiss had grown. When you and Maela were born, she wouldn't let herself make that mistake again."\n\nYou nod and continue walking. Eventually you approach a clearing, and as you are deciding which way to go, you are ambushed by three flying creatures.\n\n"Not again!" you cry. "What have we this time, wisp?"\n\n"See the one surrounded by smoke and glowing red? That's an Ifrit, a cunning foe. The swan with the blue aura, that's a Nuala; don't let her beauty and grace deceive you. The dragon-looking creature with the green aura is a Wyvern. Watch out for that barbed tail; it is no doubt poisoned. You know what to do?"\n\nYou nod swiftly and grin. "Watch me."\n\n\nIfrit (Earth)\n\nNuala (Earth)\n\nWyvern (Earth)\n\n
\nJust as you suspected, the pathway behind the creature takes you down by the river. As you follow the rushing water, the sun peaks up over the horizon and you see that the waters are dark and dangerous. The longer you follow it, the wider it gets.\n\n"Now what do we do?" you ask the wisp. "It's a waste of time to backtrack, but if we keep going the river will get harder and harder to cross unless we find a bridge."\n\n"Perhaps we can make one," the wisp suggests. You give it a funny look. "Remember, there is more to magic than destruction. Sometimes you can use it to create."\n\n"How am I supposed to do that?"\n\n"Look around you, Nerick. What do you see?"\n\n\nEarth 4a\n\nEarth 4b\n\nEarth 4c
\nAs the fantastic bird hits the ground, the others shriek in terror and fly away.\n\nExhausted, you collapse in the middle of the clearing.\n\n"Nerick, are you okay?" the wisp asks, worried.\n\n"I'm okay. Just tired, I think."\n\n"You are using your magic too quickly. You must rest."\n\n"No, we're so close. I can feel it. I have to keep going, for Maela!"\n\nYou look up and examine the clearing.\n\n"Of course," you say. "Three paths. "So be it."\n\nShe wraps you in her arms and you feel a sense of warmth spread throughout your body as the magic overtakes you. You skin glows red as the power of Fire manifests within you. Your mother loosens the hold she has on you, and as you pull apart you see a tendril of green light connecting her heart to yours.\n\n"It feels so wonderful to finally share the magic with you. I've kept it inside for so long, but now it is yours. And soon, it will also belong to your sister."\n\nShe closes her eyes and concentrates, pushing forth the magic she has kept locked within. An orb of blue light emerges from her chest and hovers in the air, tethered to yours.\n\n"Curious..." your mother whispers when she opens her eyes. "You are fiery red, and your sister's orb is icy blue. But you see this bit of green? It is Earth, and it connects you together. Remember this, Nerick. It will help you find the path you were destined to walk. Now, let's get you ready."\n\n\nReady (Fire)
\nAs you concentrate your powers, you can feel them blend with Maela's. It surges through you, and it's unlike anything you've ever felt before.\n\nA furious torrent of Blazing Icicles rains from the sky, burning and freezing Geiss at the same time.\n\n"Impossible!" Geiss groans as the magic pierces his body, struggling to shield himself before finally crumpling in a motionless heap.\n\nThe rain of fiery ice ceases as you hug your sister, jumping and whooping in triumph.\n\n"That was awesome!" "I think as long as you and I are together, there is nothing we can't do. Close your eyes and concentrate on Mom and Dad. As you cling to Maela, you feel as though you're passing through the very fabric of time. After a moment, the magic dissipates and you find yourselves at home. Your mother and father rush to you, relief on both of their faces.\n\n"You made it!" your mother cries as she pulls everyone in for a welcoming embrace. "Oh, I knew you could do it! I'm so glad you're home!"\n\n"Me, too!" says Maela, and you are quick to echo the sentiment.\n\n\nTHE END.\n\nStart\n
\nYou scramble backward, trying desperately to put some distance between yourself and the Dark Mage. \n\n"Nerick!" Maela shouts. "What's going on?" \n\nYou look over to see the red wisp racing toward your sister. It passes through the wall of blue light and hits her in the chest. She gasps as the magic overtakes her, but as the power of Fire begins to course through her veins, her eyes widen and a confident smile spreads across her face.\n\n"Magic! I have magic." She rubs her hands together until a ball of fire leaps from her palms. She pushes it forward and it easily cuts through the frozen prison. Finally free, she rushes to your side.\n\nTogether, you stand and face Geiss once more.\n\n\nPhase 2 (Earth)\n\n
\nA cage of ice bursts from the ground at Geiss's feet, but he stands undamaged.\n\n"Fool of a child! Now you will see the true power of magic!"\n\nHe waves his hand at a tree and the crimson leaves fly off, funneling quickly around your body in a dangerous dance. He flips his wrist, and the leaves attack, ripping your cloak to shreds and slicing at every bit of skin they can find.\n\nHe laughs as you fall to the ground.\n\n"Now, you will taste death."\n\n\nMaela's Power (Ice)
\nThe cave is dark, but the dim glow of the wisp offers you enough to light to make your way through. Luckily, the cave leads to a short tunnel that opens on the the other side of cliff, and soon you are trekking through the forest's trees again.\n\n"Maybe this magic thing isn't too bad, after all," you think out loud.\n\n"Yes, magic is the best way to protect yourself in these dangerous lands," the wisp tells you. Ice is greater than Earth, but Fire is greater than Ice. Whom will you battle?"\n\n\nFern (Ice)\n\nFreiya (Ice)\n\nFira (Ice)
He is a fierce protector, but unfortunately not for us.\n\n"All of these roads will take us to a river, but which path will you take?"\n\n\nTizheruk (Ice)\n\nKitsune (Ice)\n\nSuchos (Ice)\n
\nAs you step into the Shrouded Forest, you can feel the dark magic permeating the air around you. Haunting trees with ghastly branches form a roof over your head, with moonlight breaking through sporadically to cast irregular white shapes at your feet. \n\nYou glance momentarily at the green orb floating beside you. You must trust in yourself, Nerick, and choose."\n\n"How do I know which way to go?"\n\n"Can you feel the freezing Ice running through your veins, Nerick? Let the magic guide you."\n\nThe wisp glows brightly and three pathways appear before you.\n\n"From here, you can go Northwest, North, or Northeast. The Northwest passage is very dark, but the right kind of magic will light your way. The Northern path is barricaded by a large waterfall, but water is easily manipulated by the right element. Should you go Northeast, you will be met with thick brush, but all living things are harnessed through the same power. Which path will you take?"\n\nIce 1a\n\nIce 1b\n\nIce 1c\n\n\n\n\n
Which one do I take this time?"\n\nEach path glows with a different aura, but all of them have a dark, eerie feel. You faintly recall your mother's words of advice.\n\n\nIce 6a\n\nIce 6b\n\nIce 6c\n
What do you see?"\n\n\nIce 4a\n\nIce 4b\n\nIce 4c
"Watch me."\n\n\nIfrit (Ice)\n\nNuala (Ice)\n\nWyvern (Ice)\n\n

\nYour parents turn around to face you, leaning into each other for support. Your mother wipes her eyes on the hem of her skirt, then begins to speak.\n\n"My family is from a long line of powerful mages. Long ago, we lived freely, out in the open, sharing our gifts with everyone. Things were different then, and magic was a blessing, not a curse. It wasn't a secret back then the way it is now, and the world was able to flourish because of it. But there was a jealous man, a powerful mage who wanted to keep the magic for himself, to control it for his sadistic pleasure. One by one, he murdered the families with the strongest gifts, and then he came for ours. On a day not much different from this one, he struck down my mother and father, my sisters and brothers...I was the only one to make it out alive, and I turned to the only person I had left." She gives your father a small smile.\n\n"I loved your mother," your father recounted, returning the smile. "And even though I had no power, she loved me in return. I had sworn to protect her, so we saddled a horse and loaded it with supplies. We rode until our horse could carry us no farther, and then we ran on foot. On we went, until we felt we were safe from harm."\n\n"Days and weeks went by, and the man called Geiss never found us, but we feared returning home so we settled here. We had no choice but to hide our gifts and start our lives anew. The threat of Geiss never subsided, but his shadow never found its way here. After a while, things went back to normal--at least as normal as they could be. We depended on each other a lot in those times, and it wasn't long before the two of you were born. Your powers were obvious from your first breaths, but we couldn't let you keep them. Instead, we hid them in a safe place. We wanted to protect you, so we hid the truth from you. Now, I'm not so sure that was the right idea. Can you forgive us?"\n\nPower\n\n\n\n
\nAs you concentrate your powers, you can feel them blend with Maela's. It surges through you, and it's unlike anything you've ever felt before.\n\nA furious geyser of hot lava bursts from the earth and rains fire down from the sky, molten rocks burning Geiss mercilessly.\n\n"Impossible!" Geiss groans as the magic batters his body, struggling to shield himself before finally crumpling in a motionless heap.\n\nThe lava geyser ceases as you hug your sister, jumping and whooping in triumph.\n\n"That was awesome!" Maela cries. "I knew you'd come for me!"\n\n"Of course! We are connected, you and I. In more ways than one now."\n\n"But where did this magic come from?" she asks.\n\n\n"It's a long story! Mom and Dad would tell it better."\n\n"Oh..." her voice wavers as tears form at the corners of her eyes. "I miss them so much!"\n\n"And I'm sure they miss you too," you say, ruffling her hair. "What do you say we go home?"\n\nMaela nods emphatically. "Do you think the magic can take us there?"\n\nYou think for a moment and then hug your sister. "I think as long as you and I are together, there is nothing we can't do. Close your eyes and concentrate on Mom and Dad. Believe in the magic."\n\nGreen and red light swirls around the two of you in a glowing vortex of splendid power.

<center>Twin Spirits</center>\n<center>by Ali Banner</center>\n\n\nIt is a dark, autumn night. The air is thick and heavy, damp with the scent of rainfall. Trees bend in the blowing wind and branches tap persistently at your window. You toss and turn in fitful sleep, forehead slick with tiny beads of sweat as a distressing dream invades your mind. \n\nLike a spirit without a body, you float down a long, dark corridor framed with sharp edges glinting like razor blades. After what seems like an eternity, the threatening hall opens to a wide clearing, and the vision of your twin sister, Maela, trapped in a prison of brightly glowing light is all you can see.\n\n//"Help me, Nerick!"//\n\nMaela reaches for you through the bars of the illuminescent cage, stretching her fragile hand toward you. She gasps as the magic overtakes her, but as the power of Ice begins to course through her veins, her eyes widen and a confident smile spreads across her face.\n\n"Magic! I have magic." She slams her fist on the floor of the prison, and blue veins of ice zigzag over every inch of it. The walls solidify and the prison shatters all around her as she slams her fist down again. Finally free, she rushes to your side.\n\nTogether, you stand and face Geiss once more.\n\n\nPhase 2 (Fire)\n\n

\n"I choose the power of Ice," you say with an unsteady voice.\n\nYour mother nods. "So be it."\n\nShe wraps you in her arms and you feel a icy chill spread throughout your body as the magic overtakes you. You skin glows blue as the power of Ice manifests within you. Your mother loosens the hold she has on you, and as you pull apart you see a tendril of red light connecting her heart to yours.\n\n"It feels so wonderful to finally share the magic with you. I've kept it inside for so long, but now it is yours. And soon, it will also belong to your sister."\n\nShe closes her eyes and concentrates, pushing forth the magic she has kept locked within. An orb of green light emerges from her chest and hovers in the air, tethered to yours.\n\n"Curious..." your mother whispers when she opens her eyes. "You are icy blue, and your sister's orb is soothing green. But you see this bit of red? It is Fire, and it connects you together. Remember this, Nerick. It will help you find the path you were destined to walk. Now, let's get you ready."\n\n\nReady (Ice)

"In a dream, just before I ran in here. Maybe I can't be sure, but somehow I know it was him. He separated me from Maela, and it felt like my soul was breaking in two. How can I rescue Maela when I am so weak? I know nothing of magic. How can I defeat a Dark Mage all by myself? It's impossible!"\n\n"The power lives inside you, my child," your mother answers. "Though it has lain dormant for sixteen years, you know it, and it knows you. It longs to awaken. But first, you must make a choice. You must decide which path you will walk, which path will take you to your sister."\n\nAlthough you are unsure of your ability to wield the magic, you nod. Your mother smiles, and the words start to dance over her tongue in a rhythmic cadence.\n\n"There are three pathways of magic you can choose to walk. Each has its own abilities, and all are balanced. \n\n"Fire burns hot and red, and can easily overcome the power of Ice, but the power of Earth smothers Fire.\n\n"Ice freezes Earth over with its chill, but cowers under the furious flames of Fire.\n\n"Earth buries Fire in a rocky grave, but Earth's green fingers snap when they are caught in Ice's frosty grip.\n\n"Use this knowledge to your advantage, and your journey will come with ease. \nYou try to go around Geiss to get to your sister, but a bolt of blue light zaps your ankles and knocks you to the ground.\n\n"A coward like your mother!" Geiss bellows. "It is time for you to stand and fight. On your feet."\n\n\nPhase 1 (Earth)

\nAs you concentrate your powers, you can feel them blend with Maela's. It surges through you, and it's unlike anything you've ever felt before.\n\nA furious torrent of Frozen Petals rains from the sky, freezing and slicing Geiss at the same time.\n\n"Impossible!" Geiss groans as the magic pierces his body, struggling to shield himself before finally crumpling in a motionless heap.\n\nThe rain of frozen petals ceases as you hug your sister, jumping and whooping in triumph.\n\n"That was awesome!" Maela cries. "I knew you'd come for me!"\n\n"Of course! We are connected, you and I. In more ways than one now."\n\n"But where did this magic come from?" she asks.\n\n"It's a long story! Believe in the magic."\n\nBlue and green light swirls around the two of you in a glowing vortex of splendid power. He flips his wrist, and the leaves attack, ripping your cloak to shreds and slicing at every bit of skin they can find.\n\nHe laughs as you fall to the ground.\n\n"Now, you will taste death."\n\n\nMaela's Power (Fire)
\nAs you walk the pathway, everything around you is frozen. The soil beneath your feet crunches. The trees stand like frozen corpses with outstretched arms, silver leaves glinting like razors. Blasts of icy wind buffet your face. The power of Earth cannot help you now.\n\n"She's so close..." the wisp whispers.\n\n"I can feel her, too..."\n\nAnd suddenly you can see her.\n\n"Maela!" you cry out, running toward the prison of blue light that holds her captive.\n\nA man in black robes steps out from the shadows and blocks your path.\n\n"I wondered when you would be coming."\n\n"Nerick, help me!" Your sister's pleas fill your ears.\n\nThe nightmare comes flooding back, bringing all of your insecurities with it. \n\n"Yes, Nerick. Go ahead and help your sister." His laugh is dark and sinister. "Or stand and fight me."\n\nYou refuse to give in to the fear and make your choice.\n\n\nPhase 1 (Earth)\n\nEvade (Earth)
\nAs you step into the Shrouded Forest, you can feel the dark magic permeating the air around you. Haunting trees with ghastly branches form a roof over your head, with moonlight breaking through sporadically to cast irregular white shapes at your feet. \n\nYou glance momentarily at the blue orb floating beside you. You must trust in yourself, Nerick, and choose."\n\n"How do I know which way to go?"\n\n"Can you feel the Fire burning through your veins, Nerick? Let the magic guide you."\n\nThe wisp glows brightly and three pathways appear before you.\n\n"From here, you can go Northwest, North, or Northeast. The Northwest passage is very dark, but the right kind of magic will light your way. The Northern path is barricaded by a large waterfall, but water is easily manipulated by the right element. Should you go Northeast, you will be met with thick brush, but all living things are harnessed through the same power. Which path will you take?"\n\n\nFire 1a\n\nFire 1b\n\nFire 1c\n\n\n\n\n
\nAs you continue northwest, the darkness begins to dissipate so you put out your torch and place it in your satchel, just in case.\n\n"Maybe this magic thing isn't too bad, after all," you think out loud.\n\n"Yes, magic is the best way to protect yourself in these dangerous lands," the wisp tells you. Fire is greater than Ice, but Earth is greater than Fire. Whom will you battle?"\n\n\nFern (Fire)\n\nFreiya (Fire)\n\nFira (Fire)
He is a fierce protector, but unfortunately not for us.\n\n"All of these roads will take us to a river, but which path will you take?"\n\n\nTizheruk (Fire)\n\nKitsune (Fire)\n\nSuchos (Fire)\n
What do you see?"\n\n\nFire 4a\n\nFire 4b\n\nFire 4c
"Watch me."\n\n\nIfrit (Fire)\n\nNuala (Fire)\n\nWyvern (Fire)\n
Which one do I take this time?"\n\nEach path glows with a different aura, but all of them have a dark, eerie feel. You faintly recall your mother's words of advice.\n\n\nFire 6a\n\nFire 6b\n\nFire 6c\n

It flaps its wings twice and then falls to the ground in a burning heap.\n\nYou defeat the monster!\n\n\nFire Pathway 6\n<<else>>\s\nAll three of the arrows strike the Ifrit's body, but they become nothing more than extra feathers in its fiery plumage.\n\nYou are unable to defeat the monster.\n\n\nFire Pathway 5\n<<endif>>
\nYou call forth your slingshot and fire three heavy stones at Geiss. He snaps his fingers and three giant snowballs meet the stones in the air, swallowing them and turning them into balls of ice to do Geiss's bidding.\n\n"Fool of a child! Now you will see the true power of magic!"\n\nHe waves his hand at a tree and the silver leaves fly off, funneling quickly around your body in a dangerous dance. He flips his wrist, and the leaves attack, ripping your cloak to shreds and slicing at every bit of skin they can find.\n\nHe laughs as you fall to the ground.\n\n"Now, you will taste death."\n\n\nMaela's Power (Earth)
