Oh, hello there.
I did not notice you there. My apologies.
(Who is this? You're not sure. All you know is you're not one to talk to strangers, so you just [[don't respond-> Well, bleb ]]).
(You sense a rather eerie feeling. There is silence.
Should you... [[respond-> cooperation]] or [[remain quiet?) -> large silence]]
(You reply with a rather soft hello, and its clear whomever is speaking with you is rather delighted at this.)
Why, hello!
Its nice to have your cooperation. I cannot believe I almost expected for you to have remained silent! Silly me.
Anyway, now that we're past formalities, (what formalities, you wonder) why don't we go on to some more serious things? I'm quite confused for one, over what your gender is.
Are you [[female->female]] or are you [[male->male]]?
(There's no sound. You find this perplexing. It remains in this dead silence until suddenly there's coughing.)
How terribly rude! No greeting back, alright then. Perhaps you're just rather shy this time around.
[[No matter.->you remained silent]]
Oh? And you seem to be sure of this?
[[(Of course you are.) ->Gender]]
Oh? Are you absolutely positive on that, now?
[[(Yes, of course.)->Gender]]
Oh?
It seems you're very certain about this... but I think you are incorrect.
What? I'm wrong, you say? Thats impossible. I know all things. I am all knowing, all seeing.
[[(You argue that you would know this out of all things.)->wait, whats that light?]]
Oh, bother. Nevermind then, if you're going to be all defensive.
(You're greeted with more silence. It is during this time you take a moment to take in your surroundings- or, rather, the lack thereof. There's nothing here, you realize. You seem to be falling, or floating, maybe? You cannot tell. There's nothing to see, nothing to feel, not even yourself. The only thing you know for sure is that there's a rather... salty taste in the air.
Its completely black in here and void of anything. You're not sure where the heck you are. Whoever is speaking to you catches you off guard again.)
If my calculations are correct, you should have a rather childish and relaxed nature.
Anyway, do you see that?
Look over there. Do you see it?
[[(You're not all too sure what they're talking about. You can't see anything.)->Look closer at the sun]]
I'm quite serious. Look again.
(After a moment, you realize that there's a light. A really bright one at that. Or at least, it seems to be some sort of... light. Not a faint one either, and it isn't blinking.
You're also not sure when it even got there, because you sure as heck didn't notice.
You wait another few moments, being relaxed. This doesn't unnerve you, but you are curious. That you know you cannot deny.
Should you [[go closer->approach that light]] or just [[remain->don't go towards the light]]?)
(Not all too sure how, you feel your body start to gravitate purely upon will towards that light.
Well, entirely it seems you suddenly have a body, which is something you weren't really all too aware of before.
Or, you decide, it might be that the light seems to now be approaching you; but you hope the latter is the case. Still, your body feels... rather strangely weak.
Now you're not too sure if this was a good idea after all.
[[Watch the light get dimmer.)->beginning to black out]]
(You stay where you are, figuring thats the best option. Why would someone go towards a stupid light, anyway.
After a while some thoughts drift into your head. You wonder who you are, first off, and where is that person who was speaking to you earlier? Perhaps you're in some sort of bad nightmare, you assume with a nod.
You decide to go with the best course of action and pinch yourself. Or, at least, you think you do. You don't feel anything.
You're not sure what you were thinking with that pinch.
On any note, that light is still glowing. Except, now it seems to be coming closer? Nothing makes sense.
[[The light gets dimmer.)->beginning to black out]]
(It takes you a stunning moment- quite literally- to realize that suddenly, you cannot breathe. You did not realize you were ever breathing in the first place, but now that you cannot breathe, its quite unbearable.
Very unbearable, until suddenly theres [[no light anymore.)->blacked out]]
You have a secret.
It's not really safe to say no one other than you would know. Its a dangerous secret. Its one you've guarded for years. Many, many years.
[[You do not believe in most things.->beginning the introduction of arceuspt1]]
You are most certainly not [[sentimental->first memory sentimental]] and you believe most things sound unpleasant.
[[You are the creator of the universe.->explain the creations]]
It is a tricky business. You've lived trying to protect the worlds you created. You were the guardian, the silent protector- in the end, just becoming the villain and destroying it all.
You just wanted perfection. Nothing short of it.
You rather dislike confrontation. Being the creator, you wouldn't want anyone to challenge your position: after all, each time you destroyed an imperfect universe, you perished along with it.
And each time, you would come back anew, with the memory of the previous lineages and universes fresh.
There is a concept in this world you relate to all too well.
[[Failure leads to success.->failure leads to success]]
After all, would anyone possibly deem you the genius they do now if they knew it took you millions of attemps to get to the universe you are at now?
They would not at all.
You spent era among era, universe among universe, perfecting your craft. The best way for the greatest results, you realized, had just been to restart. Fix the mistakes of the past one.
Even if it meant destroying everything of the universe, to go and create a new one entirely with no traces of the old one.
[[You just wanted the perfect universe.->introduce yourself, arceus]]
You are the creator. The guardian. The 'Original One'.
Your name is Arceus. Plain and simple. You live to be unpredictable: to be feared. You are not meant to be loved.
Of course, not everything works out that way.
After an incident with the previous universe, you attempted to try and stick it out with this one. The 'Pokemon' universe, rather, as you've heard it called. It considerably remains Universe #0943876.
You try to stay out of things in this universe. You stay hidden as best you can. It isn't easy, but you make do.
Sometimes, you wish that you'd just [[wipe this universe out already.->discuss some backstory]]
You have a lot of abilities. Namely, the power to destroy things and bring them back, and the strength to change time completely.
You hope perhaps you won't need to use them more than you already have: this universe is just becoming a waste of time.
It's very clear to most you hold grudges. You've had a few times where time had been ripped apart due to those you considered friends and equals betraying you, but you've also done your fare share of protection. You're constantly safeguarding this universe: protecting it and showing compassion and gratitude to those who treated you kindly.
Some doubt your power, due to the lack of destruction from your engragements. This angers you terribly: the sole reason of the universe existing is due to you, the creator.
[[The sole reason you also don't take it apart is because sometimes destroying things to make perfection isn't right.->enter the gengar]]
Then, slowly, you became less proud of yourself. A worthless creator, one who killed the universes off at the first sign of failure, the ori--
There is a loud crash.
You're aware of who this is before you even see them.
[[Igasho enters.->the loud gengar]]
When you wake up, everything is quite dark.
You lay for a moment, taking deep, concentrated breaths.
You wait a while, staring at the ceiling before dragging yourself up. Your name is Arceus, and no one knows who you really are... omitting a few people.
You move to the window, nudging aside the curtais and blinds to be greeted by a blinding white.
[[Talk about a snow day!->move around the room]]
You had stumbled upon it.
You never were sure what it was for, but you shoved it in your bag and just hoped, wished it meant something important.
--
They woke up, and nothing made sense. Everything made sense and nothing made sense all the same.
The plates were a green, feeling as if swamped and loaded by a soggy moss: they stumbled from the aftermath, rotten promises and blackened dreams looming overhead. Threatening, pulling, crumbling.
The word 'ruin' in latin is related to raining; falling. The remains of a ruin: the darkening of skies, the raining of ash and rock.
Jaundice, the dehydration: they suffered from nothing but themselves, and the plague had reached their soul and slowly diminished it to none. It fell like an oasis in the sand, like a gift from the dark and vengeful god, one that that had once been themselves.
It played a rusty tone and a static which hooked his ears, one that allured his senses and teased him with a sweet, nothingless song: a sirens call in the form of a god, a treat to which they could not refuse.
It was a tape recorder, one fitted with a casette and a little blinking red light.
Dented it seemed, the song a low tone of static to which they found interest.
Arceus picked it up, and the label shouted the owner:
[[Castel.->beginning the introduction of arceuspt1]]
They prattle about senseless things.
"It is a long walk here Arc-y, y'know, ya should move somewhere so I can move better, cause like the moving through walls thing is great but I'm not sure how..."
[[Igasho->igasho personalityrelationship]] rambles on as usual. To any other mind, it is a screeching that penetrates the ears and makes one want to put their head in water.
You thank yourself quite often for your abilities to have conversations in people's minds instead of speaking aloud. It saves a lot of trouble.
You also had once learned the hard way, speaking aloud: your tones had once wrecked a world and brought it down to its knees, shattering the timespace of the universe. Ever since then, you just learned to stay silent.
After tons of universes you were able to learn to not physically speak. You're not fully sure what your own voice sounds like anymore.
As the creator of many, many universes, you figure its just another [[price you have to pay.->back to igasho whos speaking]]
Igasho is almost like Arceus's "personal assistant". Its a very ... strange pair.
Arceus tolerates Igasho. Although Arceus is not sure what they would do without them, they can only withstand brief moments with them: to which they have had a lot, considering how long Arceus has kept this universe.
Igasho is one of the pokemon Arceus trusts full heartedly. In fact, the only pokemon. It is a very strange thing to see in the pokemon standpoint- the massive size of Arceus and the small size of Igasho, with Igasho and Arceus constantly bickering: Igasho has the guts to try and spook Arceus, and to confront Arceus to their face. If Arceus was forced to say who was their closest friend, Igasho would be their pick. He's the only one who is able to consistently calm Arceus down in their massive fits of rage.
((However, with the transfer to the RPW world... it is later found out Igasho doesn't remember their time with Arceus in the pokemon world. This pains Arceus, and this is one of the pains and reasons Arceus tries to cope and deal with the RPW world: they do not want to rid themselves of their former best friend and assistant. They remain distant and pretend it hasn't happened, but upon interaction with Igasho it is quite clear the strain Arceus has, and their desire to once more become their [[friend.))->the loud gengar]]
I'll just let you figure this one out. I hadn't realized your serious nature was in play.
Alright. As if I care-- you'll find out soon enough, anyway, when you remember.
There's a jolt through your body briefly, not enough to hurt, but enough to scare you and grab your attention.)
Alright, let me just hurry this up.
Just go on, and look over there. [[Do you see it? ->Look closer at the sun]]
Its not all that bad, though, you do admit sometimes. You use that telepathy to be childish on occasion, scaring the wits out of others when they find another voice having invaded their head; their personal space, which ends making them panic.
Thankfully, you only do this as a means of communication, but you enjoy playing tricks and especially scaring people who are mean: speaking strange phrases in their mind that they don't understand, like "the northerners stole the cookie jar" or "someone here is looking both ways to sunday".
You do enjoy the perks you get of being the creator. It is nice, sometimes, when you don't [[daydream.->okay now really back to igasho]]
Snapping out of that distraction, you turn your attention back to Igasho. He was saying something, something about a concern he was having.
You're curious. Very curious.
[[Ask him what he's worried about.->question igasho]]
[[Continue to daydream.->igasho barks at you]]
You ask Igasho what he is concerned about.
He gives news of some disruptions in the pokemon universe.
The family you have closely monitored, a group of wolves who have the ability to seemingly come into your universe and then disappear for amounts of time, seem to be causing some trouble. Namely, one of the 'children' of the bunch.
A fellow named Gavin seems to have a strange appearance pattern, Igasho says. He has brought in another of his kind, another strange looking sort of four legged creature which has a stature of something like a Growlithe or a Poochyena: Igasho says his name is Davey, and he says that these two are causing some trouble.
[[He asks you to intervene.->go ask about gavin from igasho]]
Suddenly, there's snapping fingers in your face. Igasho noticed you daydreaming once again and not paying attention, and now he's instead demanding it. Igasho groans before trying to explain his fit of discontent.
Apparently there's some 'disruptions'. A group of wolves who have been living in your pokemon universe for a while now, coming in and out while disappearing for amounts of time. Except, now, one of the 'children' of the bunch is causing a mess.
Igasho mentions his name is Gavin, and that this Gavin is bringing in another creature that looks strange. It is much taller, in much different colors than him or his family. He is some fellow named Davey, and he says this is causing a problem.
[[He demands that you help.->think about this problem]]
After deciding to make a move on this situation, you pick up Igasho with ease and you slow time to a creeping halt. Its very quick and you exhale slowly, before making your way through the pillars.
Your mistrust of others causes problems quite a bit, but you're determined to get out of this without using judgement on anyone.
With time stopped, you can take all the leisure in this walk while you go to greet Gavin, assuming he's at his house. Its a bit of a walk but no challenge for you, the magnificent creator. You cross the sea, walk on islands, and take a stroll around the cliffs before arriving at his house.
[[Unfortunately, Gavin isn't there. Perhaps he's training in his meadow?->look at the meadow]]
You try to think about this for a moment. What nerve these individuals had, causing havoc on his universe's plane.
It was a strange situation, but you decided to go and see this 'Gavin' person. Normally Igasho was upset about practically anything, but he seemed especially disturbed about this, so you decided to go check.
[[It was time to approach gavin.->go ask about gavin from igasho]]
Indeed, Gavin is at the meadow thats a few miles off of his house. Its a large, large open patch of field that was used for farming long ago, [[surrounded by trees and hidden from view.->photograph garden]]
You only know this from Igasho's knowledge, as he's been keeping an eye on this family. You've never spoken to Gavin before, nor have you ever seen him personally. You've never seen any of his family, really.
He's doing something strange; or at least, had been, as he's currently frozen in time. You squint down to see better, and you see ...
Gavin, this assumed 'Davey' fellow, as well as some other pokemon... a Dragonair, a Mightyena, a Pyroar, a Samurott...
You keep Igasho sitting on your back, and then [[unfreeze time.->gavin accidentally teleports everyone]]
You enjoy light breezes. You enjoy silence.
The time before it rains, it is very tranquil and peaceful. Most people are inside, preparing for a storm and getting ready their flashlights and their candles to light, pulling out board games for when electricity fails them.
You, however, stay outside in your own little garden.
It is your photograph garden, or at least that is what he calls it. You look at your work, sitting on a bench he placed out here, gazing at the beauty of it.
There's more than a hundred photographs here. Some of them include you, others include pretty scenery or fond memories. You reminisce here. The polaroids hang on strings that drape from trees, like tons of spidery fingers that gently swing around in the breeze while the darkening skies threaten above.
They're pretty. You believe this is one of the most private and intimiate things in life, you and these pictures. You stand up, taking a walk amongst them like taking a walk amongst masterpieces in a museum; each one has its own sentimental value, and each one is just as important like the rest.
A bottle of ketchup.
The overhang of a broken bridge.
Roman aqueducts.
[[All brought to life amongst the trees.->look at the meadow]]
You remove Igasho off your back and place him down gently, and when time begins to restart, it hits immediately; as if it never stopped in the first place. Except, now, you're towering over everyone. Gavin begins to panic spraying some green and blue liquid everywhere, getting some on the Mightyena; and it proceeds to shake like a dog, getting some on your feet and on Igasho.
Gavin suddenly realizes, but its way too late. Gavin had tossed open some sort of circular floaty thing in the middle of the field, and Davey had ran into it, and now...
[[Now you feel much different.->Wake up, dearest Arceus]]
You move around the room a little bit, sitting on the circular bed you somehow ended up on. Rubbing your eyes, you adjust to the light and look around a bit.
[[Turn on the light,->phase one room gavin]] [[go see Gavin's desk,->gavins desk note]] [[look in the closet,->gavins room closet]] or [[check your phone.->no new messages]]
You get up with a grunt and move to the light switch, flicking it on. It... doesn't seem to work.
Despite with how long you've lived here, you should know it doesn't work.
Whatever.
You look around the room some more, figuring out what else you should do.
[[Go to the desk,->gavins desk note]] [[check your phone,->no new messages]] or [[look in the closet.->gavins room closet]]
You make your way over to Gavin's desk, seeing all his 3DS equipment strewn out everywhere.
However, there's a sticky note. You pick it up and move over to the window to read it better, since there's no light by the desk.
[[Read the sticky note.->sticky note]]
Moving your way to the closet, you open the door and pull the string attached to a light on the ceiling. Suddenly, there was light, and you can see the inside of the closet.
There's some random things here, mostly Gavin's clothing as well as some of Reese's, and your bandanas hanging on a rack on the door.
Rubbing your chin, you decide to go with a Tokyo Ghoul themed bandana for today. You remove the one you're wearing currently, and place it on the rack, while grabbing the new one. Tying it tightly, you pull it up to your nose so it effectively hides your mouth.
You pull the string again and get welcomed once more by the darkness, shutting the door and standing back in the room again.
You wonder what else to do... should you [[check your phone->no new messages]] or [[look at the desk?->gavins desk note]]
Fumbling around for your phone, you try and check all your pockets before disdainfully looking at your bed.
Of course it has to be hidden somewhere in those covers.
You blindly look around for it, removing all the covers in the end before finding it was on the floor all along. You put on Gavin's desk, and then make the bed for Gavin, before returning to get your phone.
[[You click the button to turn on the lock screen.->now you're forced to look at the desk lmao]]
You turn on your phone and you're greeted by a selfie Reese took. Of course. He wouldn't accept anything less than you thinking of him always.
Rubbing your eyes, you realize the sadness of your situation: "0 new messages and notifications".
However, you [[notice something on the desk.->sticky note]]
The note is a bit all over the place, and you realize that Reese (relationship) got a hold of this note after Gavin (relationship) wrote it.
---
Good morning Arceus!
I saw you fell asleep in my bed last night... sorry for staying up so late with Reese watching movies! I'll try to make sure you get your couch back again tonight, but I hope you had a good rest.
Anyway, we have a snow day !!! We're all meeting at (here 'Toby' was scratched out and replaced) Toby (relationship) the Terrible's house, Rin (relationship) is going to be making some cooking while we all have some hot chocolate!
I didn't want to wake you up so I let you sleep, but if you could go get some stuff from the fridge and your mug and meet us over there, that would be great!
- Gavin

There's a note on the bottom, written crudely; [[turn this page over.]]
This is gonna be where Reese writes his letter. What a wild ride this is gonna be
