Finally he has had enough and yells at her to leave for a nunnery. When she tries to talk to Hamlet he starts to recite prose from a play, something about a rose still being a rose before walking off. Later that night, Hamlet will go to Ophelia’s room pale-faced and disheveled. He cracks the door just enough to see her walk by and give a sigh. But that’s not what’s important. You look at Claudius who has begun to sweat and fidget in his seat and Hamlet sees the same. You know that it would probably be best to [[QUIETLY OBSERVE->Call out the king]] him more, but it could also be the time to [[STRIKE->Stay silent]]. You knew something was off from the elaborate clothes that Hamlet decided to change into. You watch in confusion as your son plays you in the play. After the actor playing your brother kills Hamlet, he rises again and starts to monologue on the horror of the situation. Claudius is getting more irate by the second. [[Call out Claudius->Call out Claudius]] [[SIT DOWN!->Sit down!]] {(Set: $Act to $Act+1) Take your time, you have to look for a tell, you say. Anything that will give the man away could be his admission of guilt. But just as Claudius begins to squirm in his seat Hamlet jumps up. He says that this play has happened in real life and that the killer of his father and king has stolen the crown and sits by his mother. This begins a yelling match of denial and proof between Hamlet and Claudius that ends with the king storming out of the room. } [[Hamlet believes you now, and it is time for him to do something about it.->The Prayer]] (Set: $Act to $Act+1) You scoff into Hamlet’s ear. Like that man could ever replace you. You’re twice the man he is even in death. You tell Hamlet that there is no way that he should ever be satisfied with him as a father. Don't foregt Claudius is to blame. (live: 10s)[(goto: "be cold")]Hamlet looks downcast but doesn’t respond to his mother and uncle. He gets up from the table and walks away with the pleas of his mother [[AT HIS BACK->Beautiful Ophelia]].Hamlet tries to hold in his anger but he can’t. He throws insults at his mother and uncle before storming off into the hall. [[FOLLOW HIM.->Beautiful Ophelia]] Oddly, Hamlet starts to keen at his mother. He whines that mourning is the only thing he knows how to do anymore. Now that the cow is the one that calls a new day and fish have been begging him to give them wine, what else can he do to anchor him to reality? As Claudius begins to question Hamlet’s reasoning your son jumps up and makes a mad dash out of the room. [[AFTER HIM->Beautiful Ophelia]] Hamlet quietly gets up from his seat and starts to walk off. He looks over his shoulder at his uncle, simply saying that he had a father that he will never replace. You have never heard such a cool statement give such a scalding effect. [[DRIFT AFTER HIM, IMPRESSED->Beautiful Ophelia]] {(Set: $Act to $Act+1) Hamlet looks to Claudius and then to you. You nod and he points a finger at the king. He states that this play was no work of fiction and that the true king killer is right before our very eyes. } Your brother sputters before getting up. He denies such accusations and will not take it sitting down, so he walks off. [[Hamlet sees this as an admission of guilt and finally takes your word for what it’s worth.->The Prayer]] {(Set: $Pass to $Pass+1) Both you and Claudius yell at the boy to sit down. You suppose you can admit you are related in that sense. Hearing both you and his uncle yelling at him makes Hamlet stop in his tracks. He jumps off the stage and goes to sit in an empty seat in the front row. An awkward silence fills the air as the play is finished. Claudius doesn’t say anything as he gets up and storms out of the room, which peaks Hamlet’s interest. Hamlet finally drops his sword after the 23rd stab. You feel a satisfying shiver in your ghostly form. She begins to break down and admit that she was too hasty in her marriage and that she dishonored your memory. Hamlet holds his mother and tells her what you have told him. She weeps harder and begs god for forgiveness as Polonius comes from behind a curtain and asks Hamlet if it’s all true. Hamlet nods and they all sit in silence AS GERTRUDE WEEPS You burst out[[I TOLD YOU NOT TO BRING HER INTO THIS!->What did you do?]] (Set: $poloniusalive to true)After all that’s happened you confront Hamlet again. You never wanted him to talk to his mother about these matters and now everything is a mess. You realize you don't any control over what he’ll do next.
