You wake up, a knight named Thancred, a woman of 26 years. The sun shines in your eyes as you open them. You roll over, suddenly aware of how groggy you are from spending your night at the pub with your fellow armor-clad buddies. You are also now aware of how much in pain you are from training and jousiting all day the previous day. You hear a knocking at the door, and contemplate how to get up to answer it. You

[[roll onto the floor]] [[push through the pain and open the door]] [[call for the person at the door to help you up]] [[do nothing and go back to sleep]]
As your body hits the floor, you groan out in pain again, as you have landed on all of the spots you were hurt in. The door swings open to reveal the princess, Arbigidalia... She is taller than you by a couple of inches, and her long brown hair is tied up in a bun made out of a braid and her armor is freshly shined, no doubt the work of the servants in the castle. "Why are you on the floor?" She asks. You respond, [["I'm in pain."]] [["Please help me up.]] [["Ungh..." (you're on your face because that's what you fell on.)]]The tall Princess Arbigidalia stands behind the door. She is clearly annoyed, most likely at you. You stand, waiting for her to start speaking. You [[initiate a conversation]] [[stay silent]] The tall Princess Arbigidalia stands behind the door, and she opens it to find you laying on the floor. She [[helps you up]] [[she starts rapping about your misfortune]] You miss the whole adventure and get eaten by a dragon. Whoops. The princess smirks and says, [[Oh, well.]] [[Whoops]] [[Need help?]]The princess says nope. You say [[Please.]]The princess laughs at you, and you are tempted to glare at her, but you don't, since you are afraid of even more strenuous training today. "Can you help me, please?" You croak. The princess [[laughs at you still]] [[helps you up]] [[ignores you, so you get up on your own]]The princess [[helps you up]] [[laughs at you still]] The Princess laughs at you and [[helps you up]] [[laughs at you still]] You roll onto your side and say, [[Please.]]The Princess [[helps you up]] [[ignores you, so you get up on your own]] You start a conversation with the princess as you walk over to the training center. It's about cats. You start training and you see the porter run over, overly sweaty and wheezing a lot. You [[do nothing; this isn't your problem]] [[point him towards the princess]] [[ask what's wrong yourself]] You stay silent with the princess for hours. Hours turn into days. Days turn into weeks. You both die from hunger and thirst. The princess offers you a strong arm to lift yourself up with. She almost throws you into the wall with the force of her strength. You shake yourself off as you both walk out of your house and onto the field to start training. Immediately, you are told to get your horse and your jousting lance, along with your shield. You and the other knights train for a half an hour. When the half an hour is up, a short, round, ruddy-faced porter runs out onto the field, almost screeching for the princess. You [[ask what's wrong yourself]] [[point him towards the princess]] [[do nothing; this isn't your problem]]she leaves you on the floor. you die eventually or whatever The porter, Larry, stops, panting and sweaty, and looks at you. "The (heave) prince (heave) is (heave) mi (heave) ss (heave) ing!" "Are you sure?" You ask, as the prince has been known to "disappear" for the night. "Of course I'm sure! It's daylight! HE NEVER DOES ANYTHING!" "Are you sureeee?" "YEEEES" "Are you though?" "I AM SURE! WHERE IS THE PRINCESS‽‽‽" You say, [["She's right over there."]] [["Are you suuuuuuurrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee?"]] "What do you want?" Arbigidalia asks. "Your (wheeze) brother (wheeze) is (wheeze) miss (wheeze) ing (wheeze)," the porter wheezes fiercely. "Are you sure?" "Yes, milady." The princess calls one of the trusty knights, Yelena, over to her and the porter. "What doth thou need'st, milady?" "Yelena, Shaksepeare hasn't been born yet, just speak regularly!" "Sorry. What do you need?" "My brother is missing." She [[says, "Pfft, he'll be fine."]] [[sends you to go double check]] [[calls together a group to go look for him in the woods]] Are you kidding me? Do you have no sense of adventure?? Go back and try again. You can't see it, but I'm shaking my head at you. Shame, shame, shame. Shamedy shame shame. Do it over. Pick the one you had come from. [[helps you up]] [[initiate a conversation]] You'd better get it right this time or else I'll get a dragon to eat you. That's right. I have connections. Try me."What do you want?" Princess Arbigidalia, annoyed, asks. "You're brother is missing," I tell her before the porter can wheeze it out. "Are you su—" "Don't start, I already tried," you stop her. Arbigidalia [[sends you to go double check]] [[calls together a group to go look for him in the woods]] [[says, "Pfft, he'll be fine."]]Larry whacks you over the head with your own jousting lance in frustration. Unfortunately, he hit you too hard. You died from blunt force trauma. RIP.You check everywhere. He isn't there. You sit on the steps and wait for him to come back. You die of boredom. You all gather your things to go on a grand ole adventure in the woods to find the prince. (The title of this is sounding much more accurate, isn't it?) The princess's close circle of knights (Yelena, you, Trogem, Ureniel, Liornorn, Porlthelernlsionnsieotnernentionleniondeorinsoemrzerriionxeseonseroruions, and Bob), as well as the princess herself, venture out to go find the prince. As you travel on your mighty steeds, you imagine what montage music could be playing, even though montages haven't been created yet. You all stop periodically to find water and rest for the night. Halfway through the journey, you all realize that you have no idea where you are going because there were no clues left for you. All of a sudden, you see a flash of fire in the sky! A dragon! That could be the clue! [[follow it]] [[stay put and silent]] [[jump into the river just in case it burns you]] [[go straight to the end to find the happy ending!]]He actually is, BUT THIS IS THE POINT OF THE STORY! GO ON AN ADVENTURE! [["She's right over there."]] [[point him towards the princess]] You wake up everyone and you all gather your things. The dragon's fire seemed to be so close, but it really was a couple of days' travel. Fortunately, the dragon put on the "fire show" every night. Eventually, you reach the cave. The interior of the cave is incredibly nice, weirly humanioid for a dragon's house. You see the prince, asleep in the corner of the cold, dark cave. Arbigidalia runs up to him and shakes him awake. There is a sudden commotion at the mouth of the cave. The dragon was back! The dragon is a fearsome, scary beast, with talons, horns, claws, and bad breath. All the knights charge at the dragon, swords drawn. The dragon takes defensive, ready to kill if need be. The knights [[run at the dragon all at once]] [[takes out potions to fight the dragon]]You all wander around for days until, a week later, you find the cave. There is no one there. Go back, I implore you.death. hypothermia. too. cold. to. finish. rip.Wake up, because [['Tis the Morn]] You all successfully kill the dragon! The knights yell in victory! Arbigidalia breaks into a song about your success and you all run back to the kingdom, happy. The king throws a feast upon your return. He, too, is happy that both of his children are home. The queen hugs you all, happy as well. The prince, however, is unhappy. This is one ending. However, this is the bad ending. Play again to find out why.You all take too long to take out your potions. [[However, this isn't a bad thing.]]The prince, Welreiem jumps up and yells, "STOP IT! DON'T HURT HIM!" "Why?" his sister asks. "Because. I'm in love with him!" "What?" All the knights say in unison. [["'Tis true!"]] The dragon started to shapeshift. He turned into a human!! "Yes, it is true, we are in love." "So this is where you've been this whole time?" Arbigidalia exclaimed. "Yes." "Why didn't you leave a note?" you ask. "Too little time to leave a note. Besides, after the whole dragon-human feud, I thought that I wouldn't be able to tell you. It was a little bit like Romeo and Juliet, if you ask me." "Once again, Shakespeare hasn't been born!" Arbigidalia said. The knights [[leave them alone and leave]] [[take them both back to the kingdom]]You all go back home, happy that you know where the prince is. You have completed the quest, but the better ending is in the other one ;-)You bring them both back to the kingdom, and the kingdom greets you all with a warm welcome. The king and queen are happy with the return of their son, and throw a banquet. At the banquet, the prince proposes to the dragon-man, whose name is Iroeon. He says yes, and a wedding starts being planned. The wedding is beautiful because you and the princess helped to plan it. You continue on as a knight, and you are one of the best knights in the realm. You live as you'd want to live, and for you, 'tis truly a happy ending. The end. Her words are powerful. You die because...YOU JUST GOT BURNED!You get up on your own and face the princess. You [[initiate a conversation]] [[stay silent]]
